This is a sweet miniature clock set ideal for a bedroom dressing table or similar. This very pretty clock has champlevé enamel in lovely colours and a garland adorned dial 5cm in diameter with gilt filigree hands. It has two matching candle holders in excellent condition. The clock movement is time only and runs for a week. The centre piece is 19cm high and the candle holders just 11 cm. It’s a dainty little set. Made circa 1900. $2450 |
This outstanding French gilt and champlevé clock is in the Rococo style and is in beautiful condition. All the gilding is excellent, being clear, bright and undamaged and the dial is perfect. It has lovely filigree hands. All the champlevé is original, undamaged and beautifully done. The proportions of this clock are pleasing and it stands 49cm high by 26cm wide.
